Alpha Omega Collective
For the Alpha Omega Collective tasting lounge in downtown Napa, we drew inspiration from vineyard fruit varietals to craft a design that is both sophisticated and evocative of its surroundings. Collaborating with Centric General Contractors, the project involved expanding and enhancing the space into two distinct areas: a richly textured bar reclaimed from Wine Spectator Magazine's Victorian-style headquarters and a bright new tasting room annex.
The tasting room is anchored by thoughtful design elements, including a striking two-tiered ring chandelier and Phillip Jeffries’ tone-on-tone ivory collage wallcovering, which sets a serene backdrop. At its heart, a seating area showcases a red wall disk by artist Joseph Graci, carved from wood to resemble a wine-stained cork end, mounted above a stunning gold-and-black console cast from a tree trunk. Minimalist lounge chairs sourced from Northern Portugal, upholstered in Casamance’s brick-colored jacquard velvet, invite guests to savor their wine in comfort.
